BHA’s Alex Kiehl visited the Mayfair School last week as a special guest on the “Dope Student Podcast.” With Mayfair as the first middle school level CTE program in Philadelphia, Alex shared valuable advice to those considering a career in architecture, emphasizing the importance of building connections and pursuing your passions. Alex also got the opportunity to interact with students after the podcast, with one of the students teaching her how to solder a copper pipe!
“Visiting high schools and middle schools across the Philadelphia school district and sharing my love for architecture has been such a wonderful experience over the past year,” shared Alex. “The Dope Student Podcast and everything Mr. Jarrett is doing with his students is incredible, and I was lucky to be part of it.”
