Inspira Health Network desired to provide the Glassboro community with a treatment facility emphasizing the importance of good health and wellness. The redevelopment of Rowan Boulevard provided Inspira the opportunity for growth in this market.
BHA designed an Urgent and Primary Care Center, along with a Behavioral Health Center located on the ground floor of a six story mixed use residential facility for students and market rate residents. Patients are warmly greeted into a spacious waiting room area with large exterior windows for optimal views looking onto the vibrant new downtown Glassboro. Rich colors, textures and wood accents along with the retail amenities also add to a positive outpatient experience.
The Ambulatory Care Center within the Plymouth Meeting Mall provides a “one stop shop for health and wellness.” The new facility includes physicians’ services, a walk-in clinic, an orthopedics suite, imaging and phlebotomy services. Central registration with waiting areas has been placed along a central corridor with entrances from both the mall and the exterior of the building. The Center is the first ambulatory site in a mall setting.
This 10,000 square foot walk-in urgent care facility offers a unique and comforting healthcare environment that provides more services than a typical doctor’s office, and eliminates the need to rush to an emergency room for minor injuries. The facility includes radiology, a procedure room, lab, waiting areas and exam rooms. In addition, Inspira has partnered with Premier Orthopedic which is adjacent to the urgent care facility.
The facility was designed to cohesively merge the Inspira Health and Cooper University brand. Colors throughout the space are aesthetically pleasing and a means of way finding. The nurses’ station was designed to oversee the clinical area, providing visual access to the registration desk area, enabling staff security. The facility includes eleven exam rooms, a procedure room, radiology room, administrative offices, a centralized nurses’ station, and a physical therapy suite.
Blackney Hayes Architects designed a new outpatient endoscopy suite in an existing medical office building located at the Inspira Medical Center Woodbury Campus. The suite consists of two operating rooms and eight patient recovery areas, central nursing station, registration and waiting areas.
The goal was to create an imaging suite that was warm and relaxing to help alleviate the anxiety associated with the services provided to its patients. The suite includes the following procedure rooms: MRI, PET/CT, CT, RFT, Nuclear Camera and ultrasound.
