Blackney Hayes Architects assisted LBC Credit Partners in its relocation from downtown to the suburbs.The goal for the new space was to create a corporate culture with open offices and team collaboration areas. Lots of light and sight lines to the trees encouraged open office views and the space planning at the new site.
One area of concern is noise sensitivity in an open environment. BHA paid close attention to the distribution of workstations and provided telephone and huddle rooms for team members to use as groups or individual spaces. A central hub for a break room, team gathering and individual work supports the open and private offices, allowing for a centralized place to congregate and pass through. Contemporary finishes and lighting were added to open up the space and create a fresh, modern office aesthetic that is reflective of the progressive direction in technology that the company moving toward.
