BHA designed and documented 49,502 SF of renovations and 16,604 SF of additions to Fern Hill Elementary School. The addition incorporates kindergarten rooms, an administration area, including psychology, guidance and a nurse’s suite. A small addition to the cafeteria accommodates a café/kitchen layout, and an addition of a stage between the cafeteria and the gym opens to both spaces. Support spaces include a specialty classroom for gifted students, resource rooms and library. BHA also designed two classrooms for autistic students.
The renovations include upgrades to MEP systems and fire alarm. BHA ensured ADA compliance and created a new secure entrance.
