Blackney Hayes Architects provided design concepts for a new performing arts center that would be located in the heart of South Philadelphia. The goal was to create a center where the arts would be utilized as an instrument to initiate social action to cultivate talent and revitalize the community. As designed, the center comprises of 42,000 SF, including a 250-seat theatre, dance instruction and practice studios, as well as classrooms for various arts and crafts and video production.
