Originally built in 1920 and in need of major improvements, the existing press box was demolished to accommodate state-of-the-art audio-visual and computer capabilities. The new building consisted of ticket sales, team meeting rooms, a press viewing area, television and radio announcement booths, home and visiting team coach’s boxes, and athletic and presidential boxes. Also included within the project is a television camera platform on the roof of the press box.
