Cabrini University, Student Center

Cabrini University commissioned BHA to conduct a conceptual design effort as part of a feasibility study to add dedicated modern student space to their campus.  The focus of this new building is to be one of student support, inclusivity, and transparency.  With approximately 60,000 SF on three floors, the building connects to two adjacent buildings and provides badly needed accessible circulation among all three, and onto the site.  A large black box theater and supporting spaces is housed on the lowest level, while the middle floor contains student lounges and various student services.  The top floor is dedicated to a new state-of-the-art dining facility.  Situated among dozens of century-old trees at the heart of the campus, the new student center will become an exciting and engaging part of life on Cabrini’s campus.
