One of our Architectural Designers, Alex Kiehl, represented Blackney Hayes Architects at an Introduction to Construction Assembly at Ben Franklin High School! The assembly, hosted by Turner Construction, introduced construction fields and trades to the students. This ongoing initiative is to expose minority and financially challenged students to careers in the construction industry, including skilled trades. The presenters represented different industries including Construction, Union Trades (Carpenters, Sheet Metal, Electrician), and Architecture from Turner Construction Company, Council of Carpenters (Union), Electrical Local Union 98, Sheet Metal Workers Local 19!
