Nick Scassero
Nick Scassero joins BHA as an Architectural Designer. Over the course of his career, he has developed a strong technical background through experience across a diverse set of projects, with experience in building envelope design and residential architecture, as well as public parks, restaurants, and institutional projects. Sustainability and inclusion are very important to Nick. He has studied and applied these ideas to many of his projects in the past and they are at the top of his mind for all his future projects. Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Oregon as well as a Master of Architecture degree from Temple University. A Philadelphia area native, Nick has traveled extensively with both the US Navy and his family. When away from BHA, he enjoys playing some music, going to a ball game, and exploring life with his partner, their three children, and their dog, Ruth. He is a bike commuter and enjoys getting out on beautiful roads and trails as often as possible.
Nate Morin, RA
Nate joins BHA as Project Architect with 10 years of experience. After graduating from Temple University with a Bachelor of Architecture, he spent two years working at a boutique firm in South Jersey before returning to Philadelphia and has never looked back. Over the course of his career, he’s worked on a variety of project types ranging from adaptive reuse to ground-up mixed-use residential buildings. When he’s not working, you can find him running on one of Philadelphia’s many trails or heading up north to hit the ski slopes. At home, Nate enjoys working on various house projects (many started, few completed) and spending time with his partner and their two cats, Sebastian and Peanut.
