Blackney Hayes Architects has had the pleasure of working with Villanova University on the Gmelich Lab for Financial Markets, a state-of-the-art trading room. The existing lab was relocated to make it a focal point for the business school. The Gmelich Lab integrated the latest technology used in finance, real estate, analytics, and management information systems.
The 1,500 square foot lab contains a large classroom with seating capacity for 70 and a smaller lab designed for group projects and research. With high-power equipment capable of doing complex data computations, and virtual reality capabilities for 3D data visualization, this lab is bound to bring endless opportunities to the students and staff of Villanova University!
