Blackney Hayes Appoints Four New Associates

Chad Boardman joined Blackney Hayes in 2013 and has brought his significant technical knowledge and leadership to a wide range of projects in education, housing, and corporate markets. He has led the firm’s efforts to leverage design technology and research, and put high performance design at the core of BHA’s mission.

Chad graduated Cum Laude with a B.Arch. from Drexel University, cheers on the Philadelphia Union as a season ticket holder, and enjoys spending his free time cooking and camping.

Megan Hayes is a gifted interior designer with 10 years of experience in commercial, educational, healthcare and residential projects. As a third-generation design professional, she has an innate ability to interpret her clients’ vision into remarkable spaces.

Megan graduated from Syracuse University and is a recipient of the Ralph Laidlaw Award for Excellence in Design. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, enjoys attending industry events, and is a member of the Racquet Club of Philadelphia.

Dani Leiman brings over 15 years of experience with project types ranging from corporate offices, cultural and educational facilities. With a passion for design, she finds opportunities to make every project exceptional.

A proud alum of Drexel University, Dani graduated first in her class and received her Bachelor of Architecture. She enjoys spending time raising her children with her husband as they slowly renovate their home in Narberth, PA.

Eli Storch has 10 years of experience in multifamily residential and educational projects. He brings boundless enthusiasm and creativity to his work at Blackney Hayes, and is eager to continue connecting his love of architecture with his efforts within the Philadelphia community.

Eli received his Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and is an active member of the AIA, where he sits on Design and Urban Design Committees. He is a member of the Design Advocacy Group and the Young Friends of the PSPCA. He is especially proud of his work renovating the Shane Victorino Nicetown Boys and Girls Club where he later provided fundraising and in-kind architectural support. He is a former adjunct faculty member with the Community College of Philadelphia. Eli and his wife, Sarah, recently moved to Powelton Village, closer to her job at the Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
