BHA designed a new 60-unit, four-story seniors housing facility in the Mount Airy section of Philadelphia. Eight units are fully accessible to residents with mobility impairments; an additional four units are accessible to residents with sensory impairments; the remaining units are fully adaptable. The facility is equipped with support spaces including a community room, warming kitchen, shared laundry rooms, offices, public toilets, and storage/utility rooms.
Project funding was provided by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency and the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia.
